There is a search button at the top of the home screen. Customers can search for products for rent based on their location.
Suppose you are in Delhi and want to rent a car for a week. You can put your location and product category or name.
Product page
The customer can enter the product page through direct search or vendor. They choose the particular product they want to rent and are redirected to a particular product page. The customer will add the product to the cart.
Filters
Customers will move to the product page when they search for a particular vendor’s products or product categories. On the product page, a customer can view many products.
The filter option can help customers find the right product based on color, size, price, etc.
Rental Checkout > Timeline
The customer can select the timeline to rent the product. Once the customer selects the timeline, they can move to the next step of rental checkout.
Rent & Security Deposit
Rent charges are calculated per the timeline the customer selects and the introductory price set by the vendor.
For instance, the customer wants to rent a car for 2 two days. Vendor has set Rs. 3k price for a one-day car rental. So the total amount of rent will be 6k for two days.
Besides this, there will be a security deposit also. Product security deposit depends on the product’s actual value. Also, it can differ from product to product. The customer will pay the rent and security deposit while checking out.
Final Invoice
Customers will receive a detailed invoice for the product they are renting. A detailed invoice will include renting amount, security deposit, and tax. The customer has to pay the amount that the invoice states.
Extension
If the user wants to use the product for a few more days than the return date, there is a feature called extend, which can help them. The customer can move to past orders and select the particular order they wish to extend in case of multiple orders.
Click on Extend and select the date to which they want to extend. After this, the customer has to pay the extra amount for extended days.
Return
Once the customer’s purpose is solved, they can return the product. They have to visit past orders and choose the particular order they wish to extend in case of multiple orders. After that, click on return, and the customer has to fill and submit a form for Admin approval. Once Admin approves the return request, the customer returns the product and will receive the security deposit without any deduction.
Damage
In case the product gets damaged during its use, the customer will follow the same procedure as they follow to return the product. Admin will receive the form and review it if any damage is done. After that, they will deduct the service amount for the damage, and the customer will receive the remaining security deposit.
