Map & Form
Customers will see a map on the home screen. They can set it on either map or satellite view.
There is a small form, also. It includes various information that the platform requires to provide cab service to the customers.
Sign up
The customer can sign up for the platform via an email, mobile number, or social login. If you are already registered, you can log in instantly. It takes a few seconds to get into the platform.
Add pick up & drop location.
The customer will add the pickup location, drop location, and submit a request for a ride.
Suppose the customer will book a ride from Chandigarh 28 sector to 45 sectors. They will add “Chandigarh 28 sector “as their pickup location and “Chandigarh 45 sector” as their drop location.
Once the customer adds the pickup and drops location, the cost to the destination will be calculated, and the customer will submit a ride request.
Assigned Driver
After submitting a ride request, the platform finds the available driver and assigns a free and nearby driver for the ride.
Cab booked and journey started.
The driver will be notified of the assigned task and will reach the pickup location. The customer and driver can call each other if required.
The driver will pick up the customer, and the journey starts.
Journey ends & payment
When the customer reaches their final destination, the journey ends there. The customer will pay the fair to the driver online or in cash.
Driver rating
Once the journey is over, the customer will rate the driver based on their experience. It helps the admin to know about drivers’ performance
Pooling
Add seats required and request a ride.
The customer has to add the seat they require. If they are traveling alone, they can add one seat; otherwise, more and submit a request for a ride.
Driver Assigned
When the customer sends a ride request, a driver is assigned to them. The customer has to share the cab with another passenger. The driver either picks up the other passenger before the customer if it comes in between the pickup location or after picking up the customer. The customer and driver can contact each other if required.
Split fare
In a ride carpool, the split-fare functionality is added. The fair will be divided between all passengers equally.
Suppose the customer is traveling with two other passengers, and the total ride fare is 600. In this case, the fare will be divided between three, and each has to pay 200.
Toll calculation
When the customer takes an intercity ride, a toll is charged, which is added to the final fare calculation under the toll section.
For instance, if the customer travels intercity, the ride fare is 1000. The toll that comes in the way charges Rs.100. The ride fare and toll will be calculated as the final fare, and the customer will pay rs1100 after completing the journey.
